Weekend Series Recap: FSU continues to find ways to respond when they need it the most.

      The #17 ranked Florida State Seminoles baseball team won their weekend series against the Louisville Cardinals, improving to a 22-4 record overall and a 5-4 record in ACC play.  Beautiful day at Dick Howser GAME RESULTS Game 1 - FSU: 8 | UL: 3 Game 2 - FSU: 2 | UL: 5 Game 3 - FSU: 9 | UL: 4 RECAP AND NOTABLE PLAYERS Game 1 Scoring:      Louisville jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in this game due to a solo HR from right-fielder Isaac Humphrey and an RBI single from JT Benson. A Look Ahead: Louisville Cardinals

      The #17 Florida State Seminoles will look to stay undefeated at home as they take on the Louisville Cardinals in their 48th meeting ever. FSU leads the all-time series 36-11 and have won 6 of their last 10 games against the Cardinals. This series is scheduled for three games at Dick Howser Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida; Thursday, March 28th at 6:00pm, Friday, March 29th at 6:00pm, and Saturday, March 30th at 2:00pm. No game will be played on Sunday due to the Easter holiday.      The #17 Florida State Seminoles run ruled the #6 Florida Gators on Tuesday night 14-3. This game proved as a HUGE response for FSU after suffering three straight losses to Clemson over the weekend.  SCORING RECAP:     The visiting Noles took to the bats first and capitalized with three runs in the top of the first inning. Three singles by Cam Smith, James Tibs III, and Jaime Ferrer loaded the bases, which Daniel Cantu then very quickly cleared with a 3 RBI double. However, Jac Caglianone tied the game for the Gators with a three run HR in the bottom of the same inning, his 12th of the season.  Cantu's 3 run double.
